Rahu is the Sanskrit name given to the north lunar node, the astronomical point where the upper orbital path of the Moon intersects with the orbital path of the Sun. Although considered a malefic, a well-placed Rahu can contribute great wealth and success when affliliated with benefic planets. It can also promote orginality in the arts and science. That most inauspicious of years, 2012, has finally arrived in all of its hyped-up, gloom-laden glory. 2012 has long represented the key date for those in the apocalypse business. As everyone knows, the Mayan calendar ends on December 21, 2012. So is the world going to end on a snowy Friday this December? Hardly. Actually, I don't believe a word of it.
